A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (TV series)

‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’ is a fantasy drama prequel to ‘Game of Thrones,’ created by Ira Parker and George R.R. Martin and based on Martin’s ‘Tales of Dunk and Egg’ novellas. It stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall and Dexter Sol Ansell as his young squire, Aegon “Egg” Targaryen. The first season premiered in January 2026 to positive reviews, earned nine Emmy nominations, and a second season based on ‘The Sworn Sword’ is expected in 2027.
