American Dad! (TV Series)

American Dad! is an animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman that follows the dysfunctional Smith family, including CIA agent Stan, his family, alien Roger, and goldfish Klaus. The series premiered in 2005, moved from Fox to TBS in 2014, returned to Fox in 2026 for Season 22, and has been renewed through Season 25. Unlike *Family Guy*, the show relies less on cutaway gags and more on its eccentric characters and relationships, earning generally positive reviews and multiple award nominations.
