‘Apocalypse Z: New World’ is a Spanish zombie sequel set in the Canary Islands, now Europe’s last refuge after the TSJ virus outbreak, where a supply team heads to the mainland and finds itself caught between infected hordes and growing distrust, with a recruit named Roberto joining for unclear reasons. Carles Torrens returns to direct, with Carlos Alcaide, Julia MartÃnez and others joining returning cast members José MarÃa Yazpik, Berta Vázquez and Lúculo the cat. It screens at the Sitges Film Festival on Oct. 10 and then streams worldwide on Prime Video on Oct. 30.
