Conan the Barbarian (Franchise)

Conan the Barbarian is a fictional sword-and-sorcery hero created by writer Robert E. Howard in 1932. The character appears in stories set in the mythical Hyborian Age and follows Conan, a powerful Cimmerian warrior known for his strength, intelligence, and wandering heroic adventures. Howard wrote 21 Conan stories, and many other authors later expanded the character across books, comics, films, TV shows, and games.

Conan’s popularity grew through artwork by Frank Frazetta and Marvel Comics adaptations in the 1970s, which helped define his iconic look. The character is best known today from the 1982 film Conan the Barbarian starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, which became a major fantasy classic.
