Crazy Taxi is a Sega racing game series first released in arcades in 1999 and later on the Dreamcast, where it became one of the console’s best-selling games in the U.S. Players take on the role of taxi drivers racing to deliver passengers as quickly as possible while earning extra money through outrageous stunts and time-saving maneuvers. The franchise is also known for its easy-to-learn but challenging gameplay, real-world in-game advertising, and punk-rock soundtrack featuring The Offspring and Bad Religion.
