Death Stranding (Franchise)

Death Stranding is a 2019 action-adventure game created by Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions after their split from Konami, with the story set in a post-apocalyptic United States. Players control Sam Porter Bridges, a courier who travels across a destroyed world to reconnect isolated communities while facing mysterious threats and a dangerous enemy group. The game received mostly positive reviews for its acting, visuals, and soundtrack, and became one of the most awarded games of 2019. A sequel, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, was released in 2025, while film and TV adaptations are also in development.
