D’Orc (franchise)

‘D’Orc’ is an Image Comics fantasy series by Brett Bean about a half-dwarf, half-orc outcast caught in the middle of a never-ending war between the kingdoms of Light and Dark in the lands of Sunderaine. A doomsday prophecy says he is fated to end the world, so he is hunted by both sides, armed only with a sentient, ambitiously violent shield and a chicken. It’s a funny, action-packed story with real heart, and Sony has now acquired the rights to make it into a live-action film.
