Home Alone (franchise)

The Home Alone franchise is an American Christmas comedy film series created by John Hughes, centered on children who must protect themselves or their homes from criminals while alone during the holidays. The series includes six films released between 1990 and 2021, directed by filmmakers including Chris Columbus, Raja Gosnell, Rod Daniel, Peter Hewitt, and Dan Mazer. The first films were released by 20th Century Fox, while later entries were produced for television and Disney+, following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox.
