Labubu is a popular collectible plush character created by Hong Kong illustrator Kasing Lung, featuring a scruffy monster with large ears, sharp teeth, and exaggerated expressions. The toys are produced by China-based retailer Pop Mart and are mainly sold in sealed blind boxes, with different versions and limited-edition designs. Labubu became especially popular across East and Southeast Asia in 2024 before gaining global attention through collaborations, limited releases, and the growing blind box collecting trend.
