Look Back is a 2026 Japanese coming-of-age drama written, directed, and edited by Hirokazu Kore-eda, based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga. It follows Fujino and Kyomoto, two young artists who become close through their shared passion for creating manga and eventually grow into adulthood together. The film premiered at the 2026 Venice Film Festival and is scheduled to open in Japan on September 11.
