Looney Tunes (Franchise)

‘Looney Tunes’ is Warner Bros.’ long-running animated franchise, with roots in the ‘Looney Tunes’ and ‘Merrie Melodies’ shorts of the 1930s. It has had a rocky stretch lately: Warner Bros. shelved ‘The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie’ and ‘Coyote vs. Acme’, and Ketchup Entertainment rescued both, with ‘Coyote vs. Acme’ passing $100 million globally. Now Warner Bros. Pictures Animation is rebuilding the brand for theaters, starting with the short ‘Daffy Season’ on November 6 and a new feature described as being in the vein of ‘Ocean’s 11’.
