Melania Trump (Former model)

Melania Trump, born Melanija Knavs in Slovenia in 1970, is a former model who became the first lady of the United States after marrying Donald Trump in 2005 and has held the role twice, from 2017–2021 and again from 2025. She began her career in fashion before moving to the U.S. in 1996, later launching her own jewelry brand and becoming involved in her husband’s political campaigns. As first lady, she focused mainly on children’s issues through her Be Best initiative, while also facing public attention over controversies surrounding her family and her limited public appearances.
