‘My Brilliant Career’ is a six-part Australian period drama on Netflix, based on Miles Franklin’s novel and led by Philippa Northeast as Sybylla. The series follows Sybylla, a young woman in rural early-20th-century Australia who dreams of becoming a writer but finds her plans complicated by her growing feelings for Harry.
