‘My Sad Dead’ is a four-part Spanish-language psychological horror series directed by Pablo Larraín for Netflix, adapting stories by Argentine author Mariana Enríquez. It follows Ema, a retired doctor who can see the dead, whose fragile control over her ability unravels after her niece Julie arrives and three local teenagers are murdered, letting the dead spread into the wider neighborhood. Starring Mercedes Morán and Dolores Fonzi, it premieres on Netflix September 24 after screening at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
