Neuromancer (Franchise)
Neuromancer is a 1984 science fiction novel by William Gibson about a near-future world where a hacker named Case is recruited for a dangerous digital heist involving artificial intelligence and advanced cyber technology. It was Gibson’s debut novel and later became the first book in the Sprawl trilogy, which helped define the cyberpunk genre. The story introduced key ideas like cyberspace and “jacking in,” which became central concepts in science fiction. Although it was not heavily promoted at release, it grew into a critically acclaimed classic that won major awards and is now considered one of the most influential sci-fi novels ever written.
