North of North (TV Series)

‘North of North’ is an Arctic-set comedy about Siaja, a young Inuk mother in the fictional town of Ice Cove, Nunavut, who leaves her traditional marriage and tries to build a new, independent life. Created by Stacey Aglok MacDonald and Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, it stars Anna Lambe alongside Maika Harper, Jay Ryan, Braeden Clarke and Mary Lynn Rajskub, and was Netflix’s first original from its Canada office, co-produced with the CBC and APTN. Season 2 follows Siaja as she keeps making bold decisions and even bolder mistakes while trying to prove to her tight-knit community, and herself, that she’s ready to take charge.
