PRƎPPY (Film)

Directed by Janicza Bravo and starring Kit Connor and Diana Silvers, ‘PRƎPPY’ dramatizes the events leading up to the real-life 1986 “Preppy Murder” case, in which 18-year-old Jennifer Levin was killed by Robert Chambers, a former Manhattan private-school student, in New York’s Central Park. The story follows two young women who unknowingly fall for the same charming, dangerous man during that fateful summer, culminating in a media firestorm that put issues of privilege, class, and sex on public trial. Produced by Jason Bateman’s Aggregate Films alongside STX Entertainment, the project is expected to begin filming as early as next month.
