Route 187 (TV Show)

Route 187 is a Tyler Perry-produced crime drama on Paramount+, set in the fictional city of South Winslow along a bus line locals have nicknamed ‘Route 187’ after the police code for homicide. The four-episode series follows journalist Mason James as he investigates the brutal killings of a bus driver and a teenage passenger, an inquiry that widens into a string of unsolved disappearances of local Black women. It ends on an ambiguous note, with the victim’s brother Devon walking alone through the streets as unidentified headlights close in behind him, leaving his fate and the case’s true culprit unresolved.
