Star Wars Episode X

‘Star Wars: Episode X’ is the working title for a new trilogy set to continue the Skywalker Saga, with Jon Watts (director of the Tom Holland ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy and co-creator of ‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’) attached to direct the first installment. The films are being written by Simon Kinberg, who has reportedly been developing the story since late 2024, and Daisy Ridley’s Rey is expected to appear in some capacity. The project hasn’t been formally greenlit by Disney yet, so there’s no confirmed release date, and it would arrive after ‘Star Wars: Starfighter,’ which opens May 28, 2027.
