The Kane Chronicles (Franchise)

The Kane Chronicles is a trilogy by Rick Riordan based on Egyptian mythology, set in the same universe as his other mythology series. It follows siblings Carter and Sadie Kane, powerful magicians descended from ancient pharaohs, as they battle Egyptian gods and supernatural forces in the modern world. Riordan was inspired by his experience as a middle-school teacher and created the multiracial Kane siblings to reflect both his students and the multicultural society around him.
