‘The Last Photograph’ is Zack Snyder’s upcoming drama thriller, a major departure from his usual big-budget spectacle work, following an ex-DEA operative (Stuart Martin) who returns to the mountains of South America to find his missing niece and nephew after their diplomat parents are murdered, aided by a washed-up war photographer (Fra Fee) who witnessed the killers. Decades in the making, the passion project was written by Snyder with longtime collaborator Kurt Johnstad, shot across Iceland, Colombia, and the U.S., and is reportedly scored by Hans Zimmer. The first teaser has just dropped, with fans and speculation buzzing about a possible A24 distribution deal, ahead of what’s expected to be one of the most personal and stylistically different films of Snyder’s career.
