The Mandela Catalogue (Franchise)

The Mandela Catalogue is an analog horror franchise created by YouTuber Alex Kister in 2021, set in the fictional Mandela County and centered on terrifying entities called Alternates. The series has grown popular through reaction videos and fan theories, with two acts, six volumes, and several shorter installments as of July 2026. A film adaptation co-written and directed by Kister is currently in development with United Artists, Amblin Entertainment, and Paper Street Pictures.
