The Twisted Childhood Universe / Poohniverse (Franchise)

The Twisted Childhood Universe (TCU), also known as the Poohniverse, is a British horror film series created by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and produced by Jagged Edge Productions. It is a shared universe of independent slasher films that reimagine classic children’s literature characters in dark, violent ways. The franchise includes twisted versions of characters like Winnie-the-Pooh, Peter Pan, Bambi, and Pinocchio, with more planned for future films.

The first film, “Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey,” was widely criticized for its quality but still made a profit at the box office and later won several Golden Raspberry Awards. Despite the negative reception, the creator has said he plans to improve future entries in the series. The franchise has since earned over $17.4 million worldwide.
