Treasure Island (TV Series)

‘Treasure Island’ is a new six-part adventure series from MGM+ and Paramount+ that reimagines Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic pirate tale, following teenager Jim Hawkins (Tom Sweet) as he transforms from a sheltered boy into an emboldened young pirate after his mother Bess Hawkins (Hayley Atwell) comes into possession of a dangerous treasure map. Caught between the charming but menacing Long John Silver (David Oyelowo) and the duplicitous British agent Aaron Graham (Jack Huston), Jim and Bess set sail aboard the Hispaniola into a high-stakes fight over the map’s secrets, with Tomer Capone rounding out the cast as Billy Bones. The series premieres October 11 on MGM+ in the US and October 12 on Paramount+ in the UK and Ireland, with new episodes airing weekly through mid-November.
