Taylor Swift has surprised fans again with a new music video for her song “Elizabeth Taylor,” adding another visual to her growing collection. On Tuesday, her team, Taylor Nation, announced that the video was available on Spotify and Apple Music.

They wrote, “What could you possibly get for the girl on the last day of Women’s History Month? We have something in mind! The Elizabeth Taylor Music Video is out now on @Spotify Premium and @applemusic.”

Swift herself teased the release quietly on Instagram with a story showing clips of the legendary Hollywood actress the song celebrates. The video features footage from some of Elizabeth Taylor’s most iconic films, including Cleopatra, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and A Place in the Sun. One notable clip highlights the actress wearing her famous 33.19-carat “Elizabeth Taylor Diamond,” a gift from Richard Burton.

The release comes shortly after Swift mentioned her fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce, in an award acceptance speech. Fans noticed a subtle nod to Kelce in the video, which reflects Swift’s signature mix of personal and cinematic storytelling.

The pop star’s own engagement ring, estimated at 10 carats and gifted by Kelce, also mirrors the glamour featured in the video. Swift shared on Instagram, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” alongside a TNT emoji, playfully referencing their backgrounds.

Elizabeth Taylor’s son, Christopher Wilding, reacted to the song and video, telling People, “She and my mom do seem like kindred spirits. They are both the very embodiment of female empowerment. The way [Taylor] has deftly captured the similarities and parallel tracks in their careers and personal lives is delightful.” He added that he was thrilled by references to his mother’s signature scents, Portofino and White Diamonds, and particularly loved the lyrics about her violet eyes.

Fans quickly took to social media to share their excitement. One wrote, “Brb crying my eyes violet,” while another said, “Omg this is amazing and a great way to honor Elizabeth Taylor.”

Taylor Swift continues to show why she is one of the most innovative artists of her generation. By blending personal touches with cultural homage, she keeps her music and visuals fresh and exciting. What do you think about the new “Elizabeth Taylor” video? Share your thoughts in the comments.
