Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre Reportedly Call It Quits After Short-Lived Romance

Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre have reportedly ended their relationship after dating for less than a year, Page Six reports. Sources say the couple has gone their separate ways, though the reason for the breakup is unclear.

The romance between Taylor, 35, and Pierre, 31, first sparked earlier this year when they attended the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles in February.

The pair were later seen together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party, and Pierre even appeared in a trailer for Taylor’s 2025 album, Escape Room, sharing a steamy kiss with her. By June, Taylor made their relationship Instagram official with a heartfelt tribute for Pierre’s birthday, posting photos from his party.

The couple also attended the BET Awards together, and Taylor told Complex about her younger partner, “He’s very gentle … It allows me to feel warm and to feel safe and not be in survival mode.”

Pierre had also joined a panel discussion for Taylor’s album launch, commenting, “I’m sure everybody knows this, but I’ve got to say it, Teyana is really one of one.” The two even wore matching outfits at events promoting the project, and Taylor received a Grammy nomination for the album.

Despite their public displays, the relationship appears to have ended shortly after Pierre attended the London premiere of Taylor’s latest film, One Battle After Another.

Taylor previously dated basketball player Iman Shumpert. The couple had two children and finalized their divorce in 2024. She began dating Pierre, but their relationship has now concluded.
