‘The Godmother’ Star Jennifer Lopez (57) Turns a Rainy Paris Night Into a Fashion Moment
Fashion Month is winding down in Paris, and the final stretch is shaping up to be its most star-studded. The last chapter of the Spring/Summer 2027 season runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6, and the front rows are filling up with famous faces. Jennifer Lopez is one of them, arriving in the French capital fresh off Milan Fashion Week appearances.
Lopez is in town for Paris Fashion Week and the Spring/Summer 2027 collections. She was spotted shopping in the city on Sept. 29, and her trip has kept photographers busy ever since. By Sept. 30, the singer and actor had a full schedule on her hands.
That schedule included the Stella McCartney show on Sept. 30, where Lopez sat front row. The photos show her returning to her Paris hotel after a busy night, wearing a tonal brown outfit with a belt and an oversized fur-style stole. The look appears to echo what she wore to the McCartney show earlier that day.

The show itself was memorable. It took place on a rain-soaked runway in the British ambassador’s gardens, with Lopez watching from the front row under an umbrella. The collection had an under-the-sea theme and celebrated 25 years of McCartney’s label, with Karlie Kloss and Miranda Kerr among the models.

Outlets described Lopez’s outfit in slightly different ways. Marie Claire noted a belted, fur-trimmed brown top with a matching pencil skirt, pointy pumps and an elongated stole that trailed behind her. WWD pointed to the cognac-hued ensemble and a brown croc-embossed slingback pump, while the Press Association described a layered midi dress topped with a faux-fur shawl and black veil.

The fur is worth a closer look. McCartney’s label has never used leather, fur or feathers in its 25 years, and the brand is known for faux fur. That makes Lopez’s cozy, fur-trimmed styling a fitting choice for her first McCartney show.
wait why did Jennifer Lopez wipe the bench AGAIN after security already did it ??😭

Not everything in Paris has been quiet and elegant. A video shared by Page Six on Sept. 29 shows Lopez stepping out of her hotel with her entourage as photographers crowded around her. She told them to calm down and said that nobody was going anywhere.
Reactions online were mixed. Some praised her for staying classy, while others claimed she had called the photographers herself. Her footwear drew attention as well, since she wore school-inspired black loafers with neat white socks.
Lopez is far from the only celebrity making headlines this week. Marie Claire’s roundup of the front rows names Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoë Kravitz and Anya Taylor-Joy among the stars saving their best looks for last. With the season running until Oct. 6, more standout moments are almost certain.
Paris is also familiar territory for Lopez. Earlier this year, she sat front row at the Celia Kritharioti couture show in July alongside her sister Lynda Lopez, wearing a sheer, bejeweled dress with a white fur coat. She also attended the Zuhair Murad couture show that month.
Taken together, her Paris appearances show how much she enjoys the spectacle of Fashion Week. From a rainy front row to a late-night return to her hotel, Lopez has made the most of her time in the city. What she wears next is anyone’s guess.
Jennifer Lopez is bringing plenty of fashion drama to Paris Fashion Week!
