The New ‘Off Campus’ Season 2 Romance Has Been Revealed

Prime Video’s Off Campus is already moving full speed ahead with season 2, and fans finally know which romance will take center stage next. On Thursday, the streaming platform confirmed that Allie Hayes and Dean Di Laurentis will officially lead the new season.

Viewers who watched season 1 probably saw this coming. The finale heavily hinted that Allie and Dean’s relationship would become the next major storyline, especially for fans familiar with Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Off-Campus book series. Their romance is the focus of the third novel, and now the show is following that same path.

Mika Abdalla and Stephen Kalyn are returning as Allie and Dean, and production on season 2 is already underway. According to the creative team behind the series, their relationship will now become the heart of the story moving forward.

Co-showrunner Louisa Levy shared the news in a statement and promised that the new season will continue building on what fans saw at the end of season 1. “We are so excited to continue Allie and Dean’s story as our primary romance of season two after kickstarting their romance in season one,” Levy said.

At the same time, the show is not leaving behind the original couple that helped launch the series. Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham, played by Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, will still have a major role in the story. Levy reassured fans that the popular duo is staying part of the larger cast ensemble. “But if you fell in love with Hannah and Garrett, don’t worry — they will still be an integral part of our robust ensemble,” she added. “We’re looking forward to telling the next chapter of everyone’s story. There’s a lot for fans to look forward to!”

The success of Off Campus has surprised even longtime TV watchers. Prime Video renewed the series for season 2 before season 1 even premiered, clearly expecting the adaptation to connect with audiences online. Still, the response ended up being even bigger than expected.

The series became the third biggest original series debut in Prime Video history. It also reportedly passed The Summer I Turned Pretty in viewership numbers. Much of the show’s popularity has come from TikTok and BookTok, where clips, edits, and reactions quickly went viral after release.

Based on Elle Kennedy’s bestselling novels, Off Campus follows a group of college students at Briar University as their friendships, hookups, breakups, and relationships become increasingly messy and emotional. Hockey players Garrett, Dean, Logan, and Tucker remain at the center of the story, alongside Hannah, Allie, and the rest of the group.

Season 1 mainly focused on Hannah and Garrett’s fake dating storyline that slowly turned into a real romance. Season 2 now shifts attention toward Allie and Dean, whose chemistry started building throughout the first season.

The cast for season 2 includes returning stars Mika Abdalla, Stephen Kalyn, Ella Bright, Belmont Cameli, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, India Fowler, and Philipa Soo in a recurring role.

Off Campus was created by Louisa Levy for Prime Video and is produced by Temple Hill. The romantic drama first premiered in May and quickly became one of the platform’s biggest young adult hits.

Now, with Allie and Dean officially stepping into the spotlight, season 2 looks ready to bring even more romance, chaos, and drama back to Briar University.
