‘The White Lotus’ Season 4 Gets Even More Thrilling With New Stars Announced
Filming for the fourth season of HBO’s hit series The White Lotus is set to begin next month in the South of France and Paris. The upcoming season will follow a group of hotel guests and staff over a single week, this time at a French location of the fictional luxury hotel chain.
HBO has confirmed that French actors Vincent Cassel, Corentin Fila, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz will join the cast. The trio is expected to play hotel employees or locals, continuing the tradition of strong supporting performances in previous seasons.
Cassel, a César Award-winning actor known for films like Mesrine, Ocean’s series, and Jason Bourne, is returning to HBO after appearing on Westworld. Fila, recognized for Being 17 and Escort Boys, and Tereszkiewicz, known for Forever Young and Heads or Tails, are both represented by top French agencies.
They will join an ensemble cast that already includes big names such as Helena Bonham Carter, Steve Coogan, and Chris Messina, as well as previously announced stars Sandra Bernhard, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Ari Graynor, Marissa Long, Alexander Ludwig, and AJ Michalka. Dylan Ennis, a London-based actor with French-Jamaican heritage, may also play a local character. Casting is ongoing.
Previous seasons of The White Lotus took place in Hawaii, Sicily, and Thailand. Actors such as Jennifer Coolidge, Jon Gries, and Natasha Rothwell are the only performers to appear in multiple seasons. Supporting actors from prior seasons, like Murray Bartlett, Sabrina Impacciatore, and Lisa, have become standout favorites, and HBO expects Cassel, Fila, and Tereszkiewicz to continue that trend.
Series creator Mike White will write and direct the season, with executive producers White, David Bernad, and Mark Kamine overseeing the production.
This season marks a rare television role for Cassel, who has primarily worked in film. He previously appeared in Westworld, Apple TV+’s Liaison, and Netflix’s Fiasco.
Fans are excited to see how the French setting will change the dynamics of the show and how the new cast members will interact with the established ensemble. With filming set to start soon, anticipation is building for what promises to be another thrilling installment of the Emmy-winning series.
