‘Thunderbolts*’ Star Jokes The Sentry Needs Therapy Before Facing Superman, Homelander, and Omni-Man

Thunderbolts* is almost here, and with the movie coming soon, the actors are starting to talk more about their characters. One of them is Lewis Pullman, who plays Bob, also known as The Sentry and The Void.

Fans of Marvel Comics know that The Sentry is a very powerful hero, similar to Superman. He has fought some of the strongest heroes in the Marvel Universe. But many fans wonder how would The Sentry do against other strong heroes like Superman, Omni-Man, and Homelander?

In an interview, Lewis Pullman answered this question with a bit of humor. He said: “Against Superman, Homelander, and Omni Man? Jeez, you know, I think he would have to tap out for some therapy, I think he feels like he has some impostors that to be like, ‘sorry, can we pause this for one second? I’m just gonna call my guy.’ But give him a couple of years.”

Pullman joked that The Sentry would need therapy first because he struggles with mental health issues. In the comics, The Sentry has split personalities, which makes his mind very troubled. But, knowing how extremely overpowered Sentry/Void is in the comics, I think he has this one, even fighting all four of them at the same time.

Early reactions to Thunderbolts* have praised the movie for focusing a lot on the characters and their emotions. It looks like the film will explore Bob’s mental struggles, just like in the comics.
