Timothée Chalamet recently sat down for a fast-paced Q&A with Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson, and the interview turned into a fun look at who he thinks are the greatest names in acting.

When they asked him to name the single best actor ever, he didn’t narrow it down to one. Instead, he listed three. In his words, “Denzel’s the Goat, Christian Bale’s the second Goat and Joaquin is the strange Goat.”

He also didn’t hesitate when the hosts brought up the best villain in film or TV history. Without thinking twice, Chalamet answered, “Heath Ledger as The Joker.”

The actor opened up about his friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio as well. He said DiCaprio is the person he enjoys getting random messages from the most. Chalamet shared that they had actually talked earlier that day. “He fried me today,” he joked. “He said, ‘I heard they shaved your head. Say it ain’t so.’”

Chalamet is getting ready for the release of his new movie, Marty Supreme, which hits theaters on December 25 in the U.S. and December 26 in the U.K. The project has been close to him for years and has already started generating awards chatter. He spent a long time developing the film and even traveled everywhere with a ping-pong table during those years of preparation.

It’s always interesting to hear who actors admire, especially from someone as respected as Chalamet. His choices make sense, and his stories with DiCaprio are always fun to hear. What do you think about his picks? Share your thoughts in the comments.
