Timothée Chalamet recently shared a set of photos from his trip to Japan on Instagram, captioning them, How u gunna go to Japan with no motion. The actor was in Tokyo to watch a World Baseball Classic game where Japan dominated Chinese Taipei 13-0, a match that ended early because of the mercy rule.

Chalamet attended the game alongside musician Bad Bunny and director Josh Safdie, who directed him in the Oscar-nominated film Marty Supreme. Bad Bunny is coming off his Super Bowl LX halftime show, which became the fourth-most-watched halftime performance in the event’s history, according to Sportsnet.

Fans got a front-row glimpse of Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani hitting a grand slam in the second inning. Japan scored ten of its thirteen runs in that same inning, giving pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto the win.

Sportsnet highlighted the presence of Chalamet and Bad Bunny in Tokyo, showing both stars enjoying the action and cheering on the Japanese team. The images shared by Chalamet gave fans a closer look at the actor enjoying a moment outside his usual film projects.

It’s exciting to see Chalamet embracing experiences beyond acting and sharing them with his followers. The trip also highlights how sports can bring together people from different worlds—music, film, and athletics. What do you think about Chalamet and Bad Bunny attending the game?
