Todd Stashwick Confirmed to Step into MCU’s ‘Vision Quest’ – Role Revealed
The Disney+ series Vision Quest is coming in 2026, and it’s bringing some cool new faces to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This show, a spin-off from WandaVision, is all about White Vision, played by Paul Bettany.
According to a panel at Star Trek Las Vegas, showrunner Terry Matalas dropped some exciting casting news that’s got everyone talking. Vision Quest, set to be the 18th MCU TV series, will have eight episodes and is part of the MCU’s Phase Six. It picks up where WandaVision left off, continuing White Vision’s story in the same world as the other MCU movies & shows. Paul Bettany is back as the synthetic hero, joined by James Spader, Todd Stashwick, Ruaridh Mollica, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, and Orla Brady.
At the Star Trek Las Vegas panel, Matalas revealed that Todd Stashwick will play Paladin, a Marvel Comics character who’s a skilled mercenary with super strength, speed, and stamina, often taking shady jobs but sometimes fighting for the good guys. Matalas also shared that Orla Brady, who played Laris in Star Trek: Picard, will voice F.R.I.D.A.Y., the AI that helped Tony Stark in his Iron Man suit after Jarvis became Vision. “It’s been a delight working with Marvel on the show, a wonderfully collaborative experience,” Matalas said at the panel.
The series started as an idea back in October 2022, when it was first called Vision Quest. Jac Schaeffer, who wrote WandaVision, was originally working on it, but by May 2024, Matalas took over to give the show a fresh direction. Filming kicked off in March 2025 at Pinewood Studios in London and wrapped up in late July.
Matalas is directing some episodes, along with Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, and Vincenzo Natali.Vision Quest is set to hit Disney+ in 2026, and it’s sure to bring more MCU magic with action, heart, and some epic new characters!
