Tom Holland Stops Grocery Store Fight Using His Inner Spider-Man: “Spider-Man is telling me to calm down”

Tom Holland recently showed he’s not just a hero on screen, but in real life too. While shopping in Los Angeles, the Spider-Man star stepped in to stop a fight between two men, using his quick thinking to calm things down.

In an interview with Men’s Health, Holland shared that he was at a Whole Foods when the fight broke out behind him. He stepped in, grabbed one of the men, and pulled him away from the fight.

Holland noticed the man recognized him and, even though he was angry, seemed to calm down, as if Spider-Man was telling him to relax.

They’re like going at it, right behind me. I can see that he’s recognized me immediately, and you could see the wheels turning, like, I’m really angry, but Spider-Man is telling me to calm down. So, yeah, I go to the supermarket.

This isn’t the first time Tom Holland has shown he shares some qualities with his superhero character. Recently, he was seen defending Zendaya from the paparazzi.

Even with his worldwide fame, Holland says he’s always looking for ways to live a normal life outside of acting, though for now, he loves being Spider-Man.

He mentioned that while a normal life seems far off, once he has kids, he plans to leave movies behind and focus on golfing and being a dad. He hopes to step away from the spotlight to enjoy a quiet life with his family.
