‘Tulsa King’ Season 4: First Teaser, Release Date, Cast, Plot, and Everything Else We Know

Sylvester Stallone has spent the past few years proving that gritty crime dramas can be just as compelling on the small screen as they are in theaters, and his role as an Oklahoma mob boss has become one of the defining television performances of his career. As Paramount+’s flagship crime series prepares to return, fans finally have their first real look at where Dwight Manfredi’s story heads next.

That anticipation has been building steadily since Season 3 wrapped its explosive finale last November, leaving Dwight’s fate hanging in the balance following his fiery showdown with rival Jeremiah Dunmire. With the series proving to be a consistent hit for the streamer, Paramount+ moved quickly to confirm its return, and now the wait for concrete details is finally over.

Paramount+ has officially set ‘Tulsa King‘ Season 4 to premiere Friday, October 16, releasing new episodes weekly thereafter. Alongside the announcement, the streamer dropped a batch of first-look photos and the season’s debut teaser, giving fans their first genuine glimpse of what’s coming next for Dwight and his crew.

The teaser leans hard into the show’s signature blend of grit and dark humor, showing Dwight being tailed by a police car before firing back at his pursuers. “It’s a dirty business,” Stallone’s Dwight says in the footage. “And everyone gets a little stained.” The trailer also teases a Molotov cocktail thrown into a vehicle and a stabbing carried out by Frank Grillo’s Bill Bevilaqua, setting an appropriately violent tone for the season ahead.

According to the official synopsis, Season 4 finds Dwight fighting to legitimize his growing empire while protecting the crew that helped him build it, all while facing pressure from corrupt politicians, dangerous new enemies, and what Paramount describes as a crushing personal loss. That combination of threats pulls him back toward the New York street instincts he’d supposedly left behind, transforming Tulsa into a new battleground.

The synopsis makes clear that every hard-won gain this season comes paired with harder truths about loyalty, leadership, and the cost of ambition, positioning Dwight as someone forced to confront the consequences of his own choices even as he tries to build something legitimate.

Stallone leads the returning cast as Dwight Manfredi, joined by Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak, and Neal McDonough. Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany also return for the new season.

Joining the cast as a new series regular is Gretchen Mol, best known for her work on ‘Boardwalk Empire.’ Behind the scenes, original showrunner Terence Winter returns once again as head writer and executive producer, taking back creative reins after Season 3 showrunner Dave Erickson departed the series. Taylor Sheridan and Stallone continue serving as executive producers alongside David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly, and Keith Cox.

While a fifth season hasn’t been formally confirmed yet, reports indicate a Season 5 writers’ room has already opened, with the show reportedly eyeing a potential move to filming in New York rather than its usual Atlanta production base. The franchise is also expanding further with the upcoming spinoff ‘Frisco King,’ starring Samuel L. Jackson reprising his ‘Tulsa King’ role as Russell Lee Washington Jr.

With all three previous seasons currently available on Paramount+ and a proper premiere date now locked in, fans have plenty of time to catch up before Dwight’s next chapter begins.
