‘Vought Rising’ Teaser: Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy Returns in ‘The Boys’ Prequel First Look

The first look at the new series Vought Rising has been released, giving fans a fresh update on the world of The Boys. The information comes from Prime Video, which dropped the first trailer for the upcoming spin-off on Friday.

The show is a prequel set in the 1950s and goes back to the early days of Vought International, the company behind much of the chaos in The Boys universe. It focuses on how things started getting dark long before the events of the main series.

Jensen Ackles returns as Soldier Boy, and in the teaser he is shown trying to step into a more heroic role. He says, “I wanna fight for the flag. I wanna be a hero.” In the same scene, he speaks to Private Angel, Bombsight, and Torpedo, showing that he is trying to get involved with early missions and investigations.

Aya Cash also appears as Clara Vought, who is known as Stormfront. She gives a very direct message about the future, saying, “There is a brighter future. All we need to do is take it.”

The teaser also hints at early experiments with Compound V and secret investigations inside Vought International. The tone stays similar to The Boys, with violence, dark humor, and corporate control shaping the story.

Vought Rising is created under showrunner Paul Grellong. It also includes a cast with Mason Dye, Will Hochman, KiKi Layne, Jorden Myrie, Nicolo Pasetti, Elizabeth Posey, Ricky Staffieri, and Brian J. Smith. The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios, along with several executive producers including Eric Kripke and Seth Rogen.
