[Watch] Kim Kardashian Breaks Down in Tears After Failing California Bar Exam

Kim Kardashian is opening up about a painful moment in her legal journey after failing the California bar exam. A video showing her emotional reaction has recently spread online.

The clip appears to come from footage filmed around the time the results were released. In the video, Kim is sitting at home with her mother Kris Jenner, her sister Khloe Kardashian, and her son Saint.

The group waits as the clock hits 5 p.m., the time when the exam results were posted. As Kim refreshes her screen, the outcome becomes clear, and she quickly becomes overwhelmed.

Trying to stay calm at first, Kim says, “I didn’t make it. It’s okay, I figured that,” but her voice soon breaks. Moments later, she starts crying. When Khloe asks why she expected bad news, Kim explains that she struggled during the test. She says she felt unsure about her essay answers and worried that they were not strong enough to pass.

Kris Jenner comforts her daughter and acknowledges the effort she put in, saying, “It sucks because you worked so hard.” Khloe takes a different view and points out how difficult it is for Kim to balance studying law with her busy career. Later, Khloe also tells Kim’s law mentor that trying to study complex legal material while filming shows and memorizing scripts is simply too much for one person.

During the emotional moment, Kim harshly criticizes herself and says, “I’m a big f*****g loser this week.”

The video surfaced after Kim previously addressed the exam result on social media. On November 17, she shared a post about her bar exam preparation and confirmed that she did not pass. In the caption, she wrote, “I’ve shared so much of this journey with you… On November 7th, I found out I didn’t pass the bar. It was disappointing, but it wasn’t the end.” She also made it clear she plans to keep going and continue working toward her goal of becoming a lawyer.

Earlier this year, Kim also revealed on an episode of The Kardashians Season 7 that doctors found an unruptured brain aneurysm during a routine MRI in October 2025, adding another serious challenge to her already demanding life.
