‘Yaiba: Samurai Legend’ Releases English-Subtitled Trailer Ahead of Premiere
As you probably know by know, Yaiba: Samurai Legend is premiering on April 5, 2025, and the fans are excited. Created by Detective Conan creator Gōshō Aoyama, Yaiba is a very funny and interesting samurai story that fans love.
This new anime will bring a fresh take on the popular Y∀IBA series, which follows the titular Yaiba Kurogane in his quest to become a samurai in a modern world, as he knows basically nothing else.
This is not the first Y∀IBA anime adaptation, but this one promises to refresh the series and add something to Aoyama’s already wonderful world.
In light of that, we are happy to share the official trailer for the upcoming anime with English subtitles:
The anime will star Minami Takayama as Yaiba Kurogane, Manaka Iwami as Sayaka Mine, Yoshimasa Hosoya as Takeshi Onimaru, Katsuyuki Konishi as Kenjūrō Kurogane, Junichi Suwabe as Musashi Miyamoto, Isshin Chiba as Kagetora, and Kōsuke Echigoya as Shonosuke.
Takahiro Hasui will be directing the anime at Wit Studio. Touko Machida will be in charge or series scripts, Yoshimichi Kameda will serve as the character designer and chief animation director, and Takeshi Maenami as the sub-character designer and main animator. Yutaka Yamada and Yoshiaki Dewa are composing the music, Haru Yamada will be the sound director, and Maiko Okada will be the animation producer.
Blue Encount will perform the show’s opening song “Blade.”
