Paramount has officially announced the premiere date for the highly-anticipated “Yellowstone” spinoff, Dutton Ranch. The show, which follows Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser) after the events of the original series, will debut its first two episodes on May 15. Fans can watch on Paramount+ or catch the premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Paramount Network, with new episodes airing weekly. The first season will consist of nine episodes, according to Paramount.

Along with the premiere date, Paramount released a teaser and first-look images that hint at the action and danger awaiting the duo. In the trailer, Beth and Rip appear to be fighting for survival, proving that leaving the violent world of Montana behind isn’t as simple as they thought.

While Yellowstone ended with Beth and Rip buying a ranch in Dillon, Montana, the spinoff moves the story to South Texas. The official logline reads: “As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Yellowstone – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”

Season 1 also features Finn Little, reprising his role as Carter from the original series, along with Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, Natalie Alyn Lind, Ed Harris, and Annette Bening.

Dutton Ranch was created by Chad Feehan, who also serves as showrunner and executive producer. Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, creators of the original series, return as executive producers alongside David C. Glasser, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, Hauser, Reilly, and Keith Cox.

Voros also directed multiple episodes, including both the season premiere and finale. Other directors this season include Greg Yaitanes, Jessica Lowrey, and Phil Abraham. The show is produced by Paramount Television and 101 Studios.

This marks the second Yellowstone spinoff to premiere this year. CBS recently launched Marshalls, featuring Luke Grimes returning as Kayce Dutton.

With the premiere date set and the first teaser released, fans are eagerly waiting to see how Beth and Rip navigate the new challenges of Texas. What do you think of the move from Montana to Texas, and are you excited to see the next chapter of the Dutton saga? Share your thoughts in the comments.
