Yoona Stuns Fans in Teaser Photos for Her Upcoming Winter Single ‘Wish to Wish’
Girls’ Generation star YoonA is set to make a musical comeback with a new winter single, “Wish to Wish,” which will drop on December 19 at 6 p.m. KST. After a successful 2025 focused on acting, YoonA is returning to music to offer a heartfelt gift to her fans.
SM Entertainment shared that the song was created “as a gesture of gratitude for the love she has received from fans throughout the year.” YoonA also described the track as a way to thank viewers, movie-goers, and fans who supported her during a busy year. She participated in writing the lyrics, adding a personal touch to the release.
YoonA explained that her previous solo songs represented spring, summer, and autumn, and this winter track completes her seasonal series. Fans will get a first live performance at her “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty” fan meeting in Seoul on December 20.

This musical return comes after a highly successful year for YoonA as an actress. Her dual-role performance in the film “Pretty Crazy,” playing both a bakery owner and a devil, received strong reviews. Additionally, her rom-com drama on tvN, “Bon Appétit, Your Majesty,” alongside Lee Chae Min, became one of the network’s highest-rated shows and also topped Netflix charts.
She won multiple awards this year, including Actor of the Year (Film) at the 30th Consumer’s Day KCA Culture and Entertainment Awards, the AAA Grand Prize Actress of the Year in the TV category, and the Popular Star Award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
“Wish to Wish” marks YoonA’s return to her music roots since her 2019 special album, “A Walk to Remember.” She described the new song as a warm and comfortable winter track meant to help fans “wrap up the year while listening to it.” SM Entertainment confirmed that the release is a special treat for the holiday season and will be available digitally.
