Zack Snyder is currently promoting his latest movie, ‘Rebel Moon- Part 2: The Scargiver,’ and we’re sad to report that it’s one of the lowest-rated movies of his career.

Fortunately, this whole affair provided us with the unique opportunity to pick Snyder’s brain when it comes to his former projects, notably, DCEU which ended up being rebooted by Gunn and Safran last year, with plenty of projects on the way.

Snyder has already given us some insight when it comes to the notable Superman vs. Zod fight scene, he admitted that if Superman is not put in the position to kill he is fake. He also admitted that he was surprised to see fans mocking the “Martha” scene since it was supposed to be a really profound moment in the movie during which the two men realize they aren’t actually on opposing sides.

Now in his recent interview with CBR, Snyder answered what all of us were wondering – what does he think and expect of the upcoming Gunn’s DCU?

You know, I’m a pretty open book. I really feel like, you know, if the characters are treated with reverence, and mythologically correct, then I’m down. I’m in. Let’s see what happens. I’m pretty excited[…] I mean, we’re going to get Superman pretty soon, so we’ll see what that’s like.

Snyder handled this with grace, and we really didn’t expect anything less of him. Back in February Gunn already claimed that Snyder was very supportive of the whole transition and called him an overall stand-up guy. The fandom however remains in a bitter rivalry to this day, with one-half of the DC fans calling for a boycott of Gunn’s DCU and restoration of Snyderverse, while the other half of fans pretend like Snyderverse never happened in the first place.

Gunn was quick to respond to Snyder’s support on Threads
