Zack Snyder Teams Up With UFC for New Movie Brawler

Director Zack Snyder is working with the UFC on a new film titled Brawler. The movie will focus on the world of the Ultimate Fighting Championship and tell the story of a young fighter from Los Angeles who rises through the ranks to compete for a UFC title while battling his personal struggles.

Snyder will direct, write, and produce the film alongside writers Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten, his collaborators on Rebel Moon.

Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority and owner of The Ring Magazine, is also involved in the project.

“UFC is the biggest name in combat sports, and I’m honored to work with them to bring this powerful story to life,” Snyder said. UFC CEO Dana White praised the project, saying it will give fans a look at what it takes to become a UFC champion.

Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller will produce through Stone Quarry, with Alalshikh and UFC CCO Craig Borsari serving as executive producers.
