Zazie Beetz Battles a Deadly Cult in First Trailer for Thriller ‘They Will Kill You’
A new trailer has arrived for the upcoming thriller They Will Kill You, starring Zazie Beetz. The film, directed by Kirill Sokolov, mixes horror, action, and comedy for a high-energy ride.
According to the official logline, They Will Kill You follows a young woman who must survive a night trapped in the Virgil, a building controlled by a dangerous cult, before becoming their next victim. The story promises “epic kills and wickedly dark humor.”

The cast includes Zazie Beetz as the heroine, along with Myha’la, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette. In the trailer, Beetz’s character starts a new job as a maid in a New York skyscraper, only to discover that the building is a temple for a satanic cult. Every month, the residents and some staff pick a new victim to sacrifice. As the trailer shows, Beetz’s character isn’t going down without a fight.
The film is produced by Andy and Barbara Muschietti under their Nocturna banner, alongside Dan Kagan. Executive producers include Sokolov, co-writer Alex Litvak, and several others. Warner Bros.’ New Line Cinema will release They Will Kill You in theaters on March 27, 2026.
The first trailer already sets the tone, combining blood-soaked horror with a fast-paced, darkly funny style. Beetz’s performance promises a strong and determined protagonist, giving audiences someone to root for as the deadly night unfolds.
