Zendaya and Robert Pattinson Spark Chaos in A24’s New Comedy ‘The Drama’ – Trailer Released
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are teaming up again in the first trailer for The Drama, a new dark comedy from A24 directed by Kristoffer Borgli. In the film, they play a couple whose relationship is falling apart as their wedding approaches. The trailer, released through A24, gives fans a first look at the chaotic story and the actors’ performances.
The Drama is Borgli’s fourth feature and his second English-language film, following the Nicolas Cage movie Dream Scenario, which was released by A24 in 2023. The cast also includes Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, and Hailey Gates. A24 plans to release the film in theaters on April 3, 2026.

This will be the first of three films in 2026 where Zendaya and Pattinson share the screen. They will next appear in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, coming to theaters on July 17. Zendaya will play the Greek goddess Athena, while Pattinson takes on the role of the Ithacan suitor Antinous.
Later in the year, the pair will reunite again in Dune: Part Three, the final installment of Denis Villeneuve’s Dune trilogy. Zendaya will reprise her role as Chani, and Pattinson is set to make his debut in the franchise. Rumors suggest he may play Scytale, an antagonist from Frank Herbert’s Dune: Messiah. Warner Bros. will release the film on December 18, 2026.
