‘Zootopia 2’ Trailer Brings Back Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman as Judy and Nick
Disney has released a new official trailer for Zootopia 2, giving fans a first look at the return of Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde.
Ginnifer Goodwin is back as Judy, the determined rabbit cop, while Jason Bateman reprises his role as the clever fox, Nick. The sequel to the 2016 hit is set to hit theaters on November 26.
In this new story, Judy and Nick face a new challenge: a venomous but misunderstood reptile named Gary De’Snake, voiced by Ke Huy Quan from Everything Everywhere All At Once. In one scene from the trailer, Gary tells Judy, “Snakes aren’t the bad guys. I have to set things right. And when I do, my family will finally be able to come home.” Nick quickly steps in to protect his partner, showing the duo’s teamwork is as strong as ever.

The movie follows their journey as they try to solve the mystery surrounding Gary and a mysterious book connected to Zootopia’s past. Their investigation takes them to new areas of the city, testing their skills and partnership.
Zootopia 2, also known as Zootropolis 2 or Zoomania 2 in some countries, is directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, with Bush also handling the screenplay. Yvett Merino is producing the film.
Several returning voices are back, including Idris Elba and Shakira, alongside new cast members like Fortune Feimster, Andy Samberg, David Strathairn, Patrick Warburton, and Quinta Brunson.
According to Walt Disney Animation Studios, the story will push Judy and Nick into unfamiliar parts of Zootopia while they work to uncover the truth about Gary. Fans can expect the movie to explore new corners of the city while keeping the buddy-cop comedy and heart from the original.
I’m excited to see Judy and Nick back in action, especially with a fresh villain and new parts of the city to explore. This sequel seems like it could bring a lot of fun and adventure for fans of all ages. What do you think about the new trailer and the story so far? Share your thoughts in the comments.
