Haunted Hotel was created by Matt Roller, a writer known for his work on Rick and Morty, and is produced by Netflix Animation.
The story follows Katherine, a woman trying to manage a hotel that is haunted by spirits. She receives help from her estranged brother Nathan, who is a ghost, and together they navigate the challenges of running a hotel filled with quirky, supernatural residents.
The series also introduces Abaddon, an immortal demon trapped in the body of a young boy, who helps the family fight off various evil spirits and threats.
The main voice cast includes Will Forte as Nathan, Eliza Coupe as Katherine, Skyler Gisondo as her son Ben, Natalie Palamides as her daughter Esther, and Jimmi Simpson as Abaddon. Each character brings a mix of humor and supernatural chaos to the story, adding depth to the haunted hotel setting.
Spooky season starts now. From the minds behind Rick and Morty comes HAUNTED HOTEL, a new animated comedy series premiering September 19.

The show’s mix of dark humor, family dynamics, and supernatural elements has made it a standout for Netflix’s adult animation lineup. Fans can look forward to more spooky adventures and comedic moments in the second season.
