Prime Video Confirms ‘Cross’ Season 2 Premiere Date and Reveals New Cast With a New Teaser
Aldis Hodge is back as Alex Cross, the sharp D.C. detective and forensic psychologist, in Cross Season 2. Prime Video confirmed that the new season will premiere on February 11, 2026. The streaming service also released the first teaser trailer during the show’s panel at New York Comic Con and announced three new cast members.
Based on James Patterson’s best-selling novels, Cross follows the detective’s ability to understand the minds of killers. While this skill helps him solve crimes, it also haunts him. Season 2 follows Cross as he hunts a dangerous vigilante targeting corrupt billionaire magnates.
In the teaser, Special Agent Kayla Craig, played by Alona Tal, warns, “I’ve never seen anything like this,” hinting at the dangerous and unpredictable case ahead. The clip shows fast-paced car chases, gunfights, and a more personal journey for Cross as he faces both the new killer and his own inner demons.
His partner John Sampson, played by Isaiah Mustafa, returns to help him navigate the deadly investigation through the streets of Washington, D.C.
