First Details Revealed for ‘Vision Quest’ During NYCC
Marvel Studios has shared new information about VisionQuest, an upcoming miniseries on Disney+ that continues the story of White Vision. The show, created by Terry Matalas, is a spin-off from the 2021 series WandaVision and will be part of Phase Six of the MCU.
Paul Bettany returns as Vision, joined by James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, Orla Brady, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and James D’Arcy. Production started in March 2025 at Pinewood Studios in London and wrapped in late July, with Matalas directing several episodes alongside Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, and Vincenzo Natali.
The show was originally developed by Jac Schaeffer but later shifted direction under Matalas. It will consist of eight episodes and is scheduled to premiere in 2026.
Some exciting new details came out during Marvel Studios’ panel at New York Comic Con: White Vision will have all of the original Vision’s memories but will struggle to understand and connect with emotions. Vision’s and Wanda’s son, Speed, played by Ruaridh Mollica, will appear in the series.
Several AI characters from the MCU, including Ultron, F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., J.A.R.V.I.S., and DUM-E, will return and take human forms.
These revelations suggest that VisionQuest will explore both familiar faces and new dynamics, blending emotional depth with classic Marvel action.
The show looks promising, especially with the focus on White Vision’s emotional journey. Seeing the AI characters in human forms could also add a fresh twist to the story. What do you think about these new details? Share your thoughts in the comments.
