Millie Bobby Brown and Rachel Brosnahan Join Forces for New Supernatural Netflix Series “Prism”
Millie Bobby Brown is heading back to Netflix for another supernatural story. The Stranger Things and Enola Holmes star is set to lead a new series titled Prism, which is now in development at the streamer. The project was first reported by Deadline, though Netflix hasn’t commented publicly yet.
In Prism, Brown plays Cassie, a woman who can see and talk to ghosts. When mysterious “visitors” start showing up all over the world, Cassie must figure out why before things get out of control.
The story comes from a short story also called Prism, first published in Assemble Media’s magazine Assemble Artifacts. The series was developed with writer Nick Shafir, who will also serve as co-executive producer.
Rachel Brosnahan, best known for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and her recent role as Lois Lane in Superman, will executive produce the show alongside Brown. The two are teaming up with AGBO, the production company run by Anthony and Joe Russo, which has worked with Netflix several times before.
Etan Frankel, whose previous credits include Shameless and Joe vs. Carole, will act as showrunner. Other executive producers include the Russo Brothers, Angela Russo-Otstot, Scott Nemes, Alessandra Maman, Russell Kahn, and producers from Assemble Media, including Jack Heller and Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen.
Sources say that if the show moves forward, it won’t interfere with Brown’s other projects. This marks her second partnership with AGBO following The Electric State, a Netflix movie directed by the Russo Brothers.
Brown continues to build her relationship with the streaming giant, starting from her breakout role as Eleven in Stranger Things, which is set to end later this year with its fifth season released in three parts between November and December. She also stars in the Enola Holmes films, with a third installment expected to arrive in 2026.
For Brosnahan, Prism is another big step in a growing list of major projects. She began her career on Netflix with small roles in House of Cards and Orange Is the New Black, later rising to fame through The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Prime Video. Up next, she’ll star in and executive produce the second season of Presumed Innocent on Apple TV+.
Prism doesn’t have a release date yet, but with Brown and Brosnahan both involved, expectations are high for what could be Netflix’s next big supernatural hit.
