‘Miraculous World: Tokyo – The Stellar Force’ Reveals New Teaser and Posters
A new Miraculous adventure is coming to fans with Miraculous World: Tokyo – Stellar Force, an upcoming TV special from the Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir franchise.
The special is the sixth written entry in the Miraculous World series and will be the fifth released. A spinoff series, Miraculous Stellar Force, is already planned for 2027.
In this Tokyo adventure, Ladybug travels to Japan and meets Miki and Kazuno, old friends of Kagami and members of a superhero team called the Stellar Force. Together, they must stop a new supervillain threatening the city. Along the way, Marinette learns more about Kagami’s past.
After previous adventures in New York, Shanghai, Paris, and London, Ladybug faces her most exciting journey yet, teaming up with heroes with new and powerful abilities.

The project has been in the works for a few years. It was first announced at CCXP 2020. In 2022, a book adaptation of the “Origins” two-part story indicated that three new specials were in production, later confirmed to include Miraculous Paris and Miraculous London. Variety reported in January 2024 that two specials were in production, and in May, Thomas Astruc confirmed on Twitter that the Tokyo special had not yet been officially greenlit. Production officially began in June 2024, according to Jun Violet’s LinkedIn profile.
Scriptwriting was underway by July 2024, with Sébastien Thibaudeau and Thomas Astruc working together. By October, Jean-Louis Vandestoc, creator of LoliRock, referred to the special as an OVA, and Jeremy Zag confirmed in an interview that the theme song would be in Japanese and that LadyTiger would not appear. At MIPJunior on October 19, Miraculous Corp. CEO Andy Yeatman stated that the special is expected to be delivered by the end of this year with a follow-up series planned for 2027.
Throughout 2025, more sneak peeks have been shared. At the Annecy International Animated Film Festival in June, two short scenes were revealed. In July, the TFOU Back-to-school conference presented a full synopsis and both storyboarded and completed scenes.
